FAMIS Prenatal Coverage

FAMIS Prenatal Coverage is full coverage for pregnant individuals who do not meet immigration status rules for other coverage. Your coverage lasts through 60 days postpartum.

You now do not need to meet immigration status rules, provide immigration documents, or have a Social Security number to qualify for FAMIS Prenatal Coverage.

You do need to live in Virginia, meet income rules, and be uninsured. You also need to provide your estimated due date and how many children you are expecting.
